Pink monkeyflower (Erythranthe lewisii x cardinalis)

Price

$14.00

A naturally occurring hybrid between Lewis's and Scarlet Monkeyflower. Like its parent plants, it prefers sunny and consistently damp locations.

The flower color ranges from magenta to like pink, often with a white stripe along the throat. The leaves are dentate and slightly tacky. It is very deer and pest resistant. Does well in damp or wet areas of the garden, tolerates claggy clay, and does just fine in a pot with nice potting soil.

Butterflies and hummingbirds love it.
