Fawn lily (Erythronium oregonum)
Price
$6.00
A true Willamette Valley favorite. These little lilies blanket the understory of oak savannas in early spring. The mottled leaves are first to appear, followed by a single bell-shaped creamy flower. These ephemeral beauties are surprisingly tough and do well in diverse soil types, from our native clay soils to amended gardens. After flowering, let them dry out in summer and fall in order to prevent root rot. They readily self-seed, though take ~5-7 years to reach maturity.
