This Echinacea hybrid comes in a variety of autumnal hues, from gold to deep red. The genus echinacea is native to the central United States where it thrives in open prairies. Echinacea is a superb pollinator plant and attracts bees, hoverflies, and butterflies. It also tolerates our heavy clay soils, though performs best with consistent moisture. It is also a wonderful plant for containers. Place in full sun to keep the plant from becoming "leggy". Will tolerate freezing winters and come back larger and fuller year after year.
