Cusick's checkermallow (Sidalcea cusickii)

Price

$11.00

Considered rare and threatened in its natural habitat, this Oregon native plant produces an abundance of bright pink flowers atop a tall infloresence in late spring/early summer.

As a native to riparian areas, Cusick's checkermallow requires sun and moist or damp soil in order to thrive. Cusick's checkermallow is an excellent choice for damp hedgerows or other damp, sunny areas of the garden. It is also an amazing pollinator plant as many of our native bees and butterflies are attracted to it.
