Coastal monkeyflower (Erythranthe dentata)

Price

$12.00

Formerly Mimulus dentatus, coastal monkeyflower is native to the coastal regions of Oregon, Washington, and Northern California.

This delightful, low-growing perennial thrives in damp shade and provides a nice companion to Oregon oxalis.

In its native range, it grows in mixed coniferous forests near streams and low-lying wet areas. It spreads slowly and can self-sow, but is never aggressive. A great addition of wet, shady areas of the garden and will grow happily in a pot so long as it is given shade and rich potting mix.
