Gaillardia aristata, also known as 'Blanketflower', are a beautiful native perennial that grows in many habitats including plains, prairies, and meadows. The plant reaches a height of 8–36 inches at maturity. It will flower during the summer months and go dormant over the winter. Very cold tolerant. It is a favorite of native bees and butterflies.
