Beautiful gray-leaved (glaucous) yarrow native to the Cascade range, in addition to other mid-elevation locales in the US West. Typically found growing on well-drained sites and rocky slopes between 5,000′ to 7,000′ in elevation.

The leaves are heavily scented and the flowers white. Flowering period from June-August or even later in the year.

Likes tough growing conditions; very cold tolerant, heat and drought tolerant, and can thrive with low water. Does best in fast draining, nutrient deficient soils, but will tolerate a range of soil types. Deer and rabbit resistant.
